About the authors:
Shreyas Maiti is a Class IX student from Noida, Uttar Pradesh. His parents are scientists at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), Delhi.
Dr Mitali Mukerji was formerly a Chief Scientist at CSIR-IGIB. She has 23 years of experience in the field of genomics. She is a professor at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Samatha Mathew is pursuing a PhD at CSIR-IGIB. She is part of a functional genomics lab and works with the zebrafish, a model organism.
